Hi everyone,

My apologies for being on a hiatus this week. Due to changes on blogger that conflicted with my web host I had to change blogging applications and bla bla bla….

So, the important thing to get from all of this is UPDATE YOUR RSS FEEDS to continue to receive my Yarn a Day posts.

I also want to make it up to you, my lovely readers, by posting the entire week of yarn tonight. Everything will be all back to normal on Monday!

I also plan to try to write a little more about the yarns, etc. and not just post the photos and details.

Now, on to the yarns:

Monday:
Auroral Corona orbs – Orbs are yarn packets that I make up from scraps from handspun yarns that I spin.

Tuesday – Flowers in the Snow – this is thick and thin merino/seacell with cocoons.

Wednesday – 3 Scratchy Boucle Yarns – I got these yarn bases for free. They are vintage and super scratchy. They will be used for something that does not touch the skin – but they are so pretty after I dyed them.

Thursday – Orchid Grove – lovely merino/rambouillet spun in a ‘beads on a string’ method with a thinner single and sectioned larger coils. This wool was handpainted by my friend Leah ( http://www.freewebs.com/yarnoratale).

Friday – Lulin’s Tails – another set of orbs
